The iQOO 13 is set to launch in China later this month, and the head of iQOO India has teased its arrival in India as well. This new smartphone will serve as the successor to the iQOO 12. The company has previously shared details about the display, and key features such as battery and charging specifications have been confirmed by a senior official. Notably, the device will be powered by the latest generation Snapdragon chipset, although the specific model name has yet to be disclosed.
The launch of the iQOO 13 in India is suggested by an X post from iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya. While a specific date has not been announced, the launch is anticipated later this year, following its introduction in China at the end of October. The teaser indicates that the smartphone will feature Snapdragon’s latest flagship chipset, which will be revealed at an upcoming Qualcomm event this week.
In terms of specifications, the iQOO 13 is confirmed to come with BOE’s Q10 display boasting a 2K resolution. Additionally, Vivo VP Jia Jingdong confirmed that the phone will be equipped with a 6,150mAh battery that supports 120W wired fast charging, along with a Q2 gaming chipset.
Previous leaks suggest that the iQOO 13 will have a 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. It is expected to support up to 16GB of RAM and offer up to 512GB of internal storage. The Chinese variant is likely to ship with OriginOS 5, while the Indian and international versions are expected to run on Funtouch OS 15.
In terms of camera capabilities, the iQOO 13 is expected to feature a triple rear camera system, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. The front camera may be equipped with a 32-megapixel sensor, ensuring high-quality selfies and video calls.
